Welcome to Sedona, Arizona

Welcome to Sedona, Arizona

Beautiful in its barrenness, the red rocks of the Sonoran Desert surrounding Sedona have made the city attractive to artists and adventurers alike. Guided tours of the surroundings on land or by air are highly popular activities and are one of the best ways to really explore the region. Be sure to check out the lovely Southwestern-style art that fills the galleries of Tlaquepaque and the independent shops along Main Street.

Sedona Vortexes

Five vortexes surround Sedona, where many believe that energy emanates from the land. These places are said to have positive spiritual effects. Sedona's biggest sites are located at Airport Mesa, Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon, Cathedral Rock and Schnebly Hill. In addition to vortex tour companies that can take you to these sites and others, you can also just look for twisted juniper trees: the more twisted the tree, the greater the energy at that location.
